Book Café
Description
IRANSA Book Cafe, operational since 2013, has conducted over 70 events. These gatherings have explored various books across various disciplines, including literary masterpieces worldwide and specialized works in psychology, philosophy, and ontology. Some notable titles include "The Alien" by Albert Camus, "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking, "The Broken Woman" by Simone de Beauvoir, "About the Meaning of Life" by Will Durant, and "The Burden of Being" by Milan Kundera. Within the realm of literature, classical Persian poetry, with contributions from poets like Hafez, Omar Khayyam, Rumi, and Saadi, holds a special place. As part of a recent addition to the book cafe's series, the poetry evening program started with reading and interpreting Hafez's poems. A significant upcoming initiative involves hosting meetings featuring distinguished Iranian authors. Currently, our events take place monthly, with the latest discussion centered around Viktor Frankl's "Man in Search of Meaning," a pioneering work in the field of logotherapy. Secure your ticket for a rollercoaster of emotions where you navigate the fine line between outsmarting the Mafia and falling victim to their cunning schemes. The stakes are high in this immersive world of strategy and mystery.
